MY MISSION
Putting People First
As an Army combat veteran who served in Iraq, Zulma knows what it means to put service first and what it takes to fight for our country. At her home in Urbana, she serves as a voice for veterans and their families. Zulma is the wife of a veteran and mother of two, who has enjoyed deepening her roots and love for rural Ohio.
The district needs a leader that helps create and maintain an environment where families can continue to work, raise a family, and retain employment opportunities for their children to stay in rural Ohio. As a passionate community leader who will focus on inclusivity and progress, Zulma Schrupp is the true voice of the people and an advocate committed to protecting and fighting for equal rights as well as mental health and Veterans’ support for all Ohioans. Last year she ran a ruck march in full combat gear of 50 miles to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide.
Zulma is running for Ohio’s Senate District 12 because she believes she can be a stronger voice for everyone including those that also serve this great country. Zulma will continue to fight for all Ohioans especially those whose voices need to be amplified.
Zulma has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Project Management and a Graduate Certificate in Accounting. She currently is a Government Services employee. She also serves as a Veterans’ Service Commissioner for Champaign County, Post Officer for AMVETS Post 121 and Post Officer for American Legion Post 120 in Urbana, OH.
In Zulma’s spare time she loves to cook, spend time with her family and friends, and explore new restaurants with her husband. Zulma asks for your support in electing her as your next Ohio senator so she can also fight for District 12.
#Zulma4Ohio is the right choice for a brighter future for Ohio.
